I think outsourcing was be a last resort. I think it’s better to spread the work among several people within the organization. That way, the tasks don’t overwhelm one or two employees. To me, it makes sense if the people closest to the organization (employees) are the ones who are tweeting, updating FB, writing blogs, etc.
