Build Your Business By Speaking Human-to-Human #H2H – With Bryan Kramer

What does human-to-human have to do with business? It is easy to think that as a business, you have to focus primarily on leads, closing sales, and increasing revenue. While that seems logical, you yourself can attest that it may not always be effective when it comes to achieving sustainable growth.

This is an outcome of the information explosion. And, consumers know how to find their way as they decide on the best company to engage to meet their needs. Dealing with them human-to-human and not company to human will allow you to cut through the noise and get straight to your target market. The art and science of social selling indeed has a place in business and it may not be easy to replace. In the full podcast, Bryan Kramer, CEO of PureMatter shares his thinking on the subject of human-to-human communication #H2H.

Authenticity Is At The Heart Of Human-To-Human

At the heart of humanizing your business is authenticity. Keep in mind that at the other end of the line is a human being, just like you. And, treating them in an authentic manner will help them gravitate toward you. All the qualities of being human, from making mistakes, smiling or making each other laugh, and talking about everyday life is as authentic as you can get.

Spending time talking to your customer from one human being to the other can be the simplest, yet most authentic practice to do as a business owner. And it doesn’t even matter how big or how small your company is because you are your brand. Divulging and sharing who you are, your thoughts, passions, failures, and successes will help you attract the right people. These people may become part of your tribe or community. Being authentic about your humanness is your ticket toward doing business with humans.

Communication, Social Media, And Technology

As a business owner, you must take advantage of the perks technology provides as it will help you reach out to and communicate with your customers. Chatbots have become increasingly popular. And, when it comes to chatbots, they do help you respond faster in real time while you go about your day.

But to maintain the essence of personalization, you do not have to pretend to be a machine or pretend it is you responding instead of a chatbot. The chatbot can introduce you and can give general instructions to prospects, leads and customers. In this way, they will understand your use of technology but still know they are important to you.

You can use automation upfront to help you strike initial conversations with the right people and then personally take over to engage as necessary.

Do not forget too that the consumer is already bombarded with a lot of noise from all sorts of social media channels and technology tools from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, to AI, machine-learning, and AR. And you do not have to be in all these places to stand out from the noise.

Instead, you can simply focus on one channel or technology, on one that you do best as a company and get known for it. The Human-to-human business approach is about going back to the simplistic time of marketing where you attract more of the right people through a personal customer experience. And above all else, nothing beats picking up the phone and talking to people, human to human.

Deliver Value In Every Communication

One of the best things about humanizing your business is it gets you to a place where you do not have to spend all of your time doing it. So what matters is not the amount of time you spend with customers but the quality and the value you deliver to them.

You can waste your time sending impersonal emails to 10,000 individuals and get nothing out of it. Or you can focus on just 10 people, spend quality time with them, and be able to convert them into sales by simply focusing on giving them the value they are looking for and the human treatment they deserve.

Reaching out to them in a creative manner, unlike what the rest of your competitors are doing, could really help with your engagement. It will also help build relationships with both your target and existing market.

In the words of Bryan Kramer, creator of the #H2H or human-to-human movement, “It’s not the amount of time you spend on something that makes you the money you make. It’s the quality of the thought process and the strategy and the brand you build and the creative ways you connect with people.”

I hope you’ll take the time to listen to the entire podcast with Bryan Kramer. He speaks the truth. And the truth with help you grow your business.
