Like many others, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to hear what new feature was going to be introduced yesterday to boost Facebook’s stock price and confidence on Wall Street. Speculation was rampant with thoughts of mobile advertising networks, a gaming platform, its own smartphone, a Facebook OS, a total site redesign, real privacy features and other brilliant ideas. Social media is everywhere. As hard as many of you are trying to deny it, social media is here to stay. It has changed the way we do business. It has changed the way we market our business. Watch Out For New Facebook Scam!

Though it's not unusual to receive an email notification from Facebook telling you someone has tagged you in a photo, the next time you do, BEWARE! Endpoint security company SOPHOS, has identified a new strain of malware (Troj/Agent-XNN) floating around Facebook suggesting that members “view photos as an attachment.” (more…)
