Although inbound marketing has become very popular, a lot of people still have doubts about whether it actually works. This is because inbound goes against everything we’ve learned about marketing. When we think about marketing, we visualize a process of reaching out to the customer to convince them the product or service we’re selling is worth the investment i.e. we visualize outbound marketing. Inbound works in the opposite way. You don’t reach out to the customer; they reach out to you. We hear so much about making an inbound marketing strategy. The term has been kicking around for at least 10 years, but it was widely practiced before it became a business byword. We get the impression that it is almost universally practiced by companies that use the internet for marketing. Live video streaming has become popular all around the world. Musicians connect with their fans through live video, and even business owners outside of the entertainment industry have begun using live video in creative ways. For example, those in educational niches put up live webinars to deliver free training and answer questions. Other service providers live stream their events and speeches for those who couldn't make it in person, as long as it wasn't an exclusive event, of course. Live video is being used in hundreds of ways by the everyday person to celebrities to business owners. You've probably heard of people and brands using Snapchat and Periscope for live streaming. We're going to talk about other live streaming tools in today's post as we've recently written about Snapchat and Periscope.

In 2011, a husband and wife team founded Main Line Family Law Center in Haverstown, Pa. The center was a small business of two professionals against the world. Divorce issues and family law are a field where quiet, private consultative marketing is better than anything noisy.
