The first time a post about Twitter appeared on my blog was March 2009. My, how time and Tweets fly. With 500 million registered users and 33 billion Tweets flying across the Twittersphere every day, Twitter has become a member of our family and a major part of our daily online experience. While many struggle to understand its worth, Twitter has become the most efficient global information network on the planet. Maybe some facts and figures will help put all this into perspective. About ten days ago I wrote a post about corporate blogging. My premise was that the corporate blog was a bit of a different beast than the individual blog. The corporate blog requires some thought and planning. As a follow-up, I'd like to share this post with you. The premise of this post is that corporate blogging is on the decline. If that is so, it's too bad and likely the result of a lack of planning on the part of the corporations who have stopped blogging. I continue to maintain corporate bloging in important for corporations to connect with their customers.
Twitter got a major upgrade yesterday and now sports a brand new look and many new features worth exploring. I think this was a major update resulting in a new website, new apps for iOS and Android and a major update to it's recently acquired social media integrator, TweetDeck. (more…)
I know I sound like a broken record, but if you weren't so stubborn I wouldn't have to keep telling you it's time to get on board. The train has already left the station, but it's still not too late.
