Strategic Storytelling Creates Human Connections

The Digital Slice Podcast is brought to you by The Friedman Group, LLC

In this episode of The Digital Slice Podcast, Brad and Jeff Bartsch dive deep into the importance of telling your stories to expand your impact in the world.

Jeff Bartsch is the founder at Story Greenlight, an agency that helps experts and professional advisors tell their stories, serve more clients, and expand their impact in the world. Jeff built his reputation as a talented storyteller and communicator through his successful career as a television editor in Hollywood, where he worked with major media outlets including ABC, NBC, Universal, Disney, Apple, and many others.

With thousands of students and clients in over 50 countries, Jeff has established himself as a leader in his field. In addition to his work with Story Greenlight, Jeff has written a book, Edit Better: Hollywood-Tested Strategies for Powerful Video Editing, and his commentary on the entertainment industry has been featured in prominent publications including Time Magazine, USA Today, and The Associated Press.

After 20 years in Los Angeles, Covid-driven change allowed Jeff to jump fully into remote life. He now lives closer to family in Cleveland, Ohio, with his wife and two young children.

In this Episode:

  • Jeff talks about being a storyteller and communication strategist.
  • Jeff tells us that communication has to be working in order for our business to succeed.
  • Jeff shares his experience of learning to play the piano from his soul.
  • Jeff talks about the importance of integrating storytelling into our business' brand.
  • Jeff also talks about the fact that no matter what else changes, business always comes down to people connecting with people.

Professional Services Providers: Important Inbound Marketing Strategies

Professional Services Providers: Important Inbound Marketing Strategies

What do most doctors, lawyers, insurance brokers, and real estate agents all have in common? They are all professional services providers who generally have location-specific businesses. It is not uncommon for each of these professionals to receive 80 percent or more of their business from within a 25-mile radius of their office(s).
