Manage Your Starbucks Card From Facebook

On April 30th Starbucks rolled out a Facebook app allowing customers to manage their Starbucks cards. The app may be found on the Starbucks Facebook page. The app provides you with the ability to do everything you can do by going to the Starbucks website including loading your card and reviewing your transactions. This is pretty convenient for those of us who spend lots of time on Facebook. We don't have to leave Facebook to perform these tasks. (more…)

You Can Follow Companies on LinkedIn

A couple days ago, our friends at LinkedIn launched “Follow Company” to make it easy for you to follow companies you are interested in. After following a company, you will get notifications like Facebook “status updates” when the company you are following posts something. This feature appears to be in line with what used to be called the Facebook “Fan” page (Now I suppose it is the Facebook “Like Page”) and Twitter, that enables you to follow people and companies you are interested in. Now, the companies you follow will be able to let you know about the people they hire, the people they promote, new job opportunities, and press release type information. (more…)
