A 4-Step System To Grow Your Business

The Digital Slice Podcast is brought to you by The Friedman Group, LLC

Join Brad Friedman and David St. Germain as they chat about a variety of tactics to grow your business, including having more than one lead strategy.

Business Growth Expert David St Germain has a unique experience on how he became one of the most in-demand, and highest paid business growth consultants.

David started in door to door sales when he was just 18 years old. He took the job because at the time he didn’t like waking up early and could start work in the early afternoon. A natural entrepreneur, David took his money from his door to door commissions and began reading books about business and success, and started testing the waters of different small business ventures.

For the first 10 years, David failed at almost every business idea he attempted. But he kept reading and studying, attending dozens of business seminars and reading over 1,000 books.

By his late 20’s David started to have his first real success. After a couple years of having some mild success (6 figure business), he stumbled into his first big success. David then built a B2B business from almost nothing to over 14 Million dollars a year within 5 years achieving a 27,000% growth rate!

David then started a B2C business, and also took that business to over 8-Figures in sales. After 12 years running these companies David exited the businesses in late 2023 and decided to focus on business growth consulting for companies that want to grow their business fast.

  • David shares with us his “4 Pillars of Business Growth.”
  • David says your business needs to evolve, or die.
  • David discusses the need to differentiate yourself, or get crushed.
  • David also talks about the importance of having more than one lead strategy.

Quotes from this Episode:
“Some things you just learn by sort of getting smacked in the face by a metaphorical two by four.” – David St. Germain
“You need more cash than you think you're going to need when growing a business .” – David St. Germain
“Number one is that you should have more than one thing going on.” – David St. Germain
“ I think a lot of people might go in with no plan and just think the leads convert themselves.” – David St. Germain
“You know, in person is the best. Second best is on the phone.” – David St. Germain

“Traditional marketing is definitely not dead by any means, but people buy from people, right?” – Will Basta
