Social Media Marketing World #SMMW19 is an extraordinary huge conference held every year in San Diego and hosted by Social Media Examiner. It is attended by all sorts of individuals but mainly social media marketers. It is my second time attending the conference this year and it was a blast. Listen while I share my experience and some of the big things I learned.

One of the highlights of the conference is the networking and meeting people I’ve met online, in person. The networking opportunities alone, make this conference a must-attend event, every year. The opportunity to learn from my peers is another reason to never miss this conference.

This year there was a lot of talk about Facebook. There was also a lot of talk about video. Live video, recorded video and Facebook and Instagram Stories were hot topics.

I've been in business for 9 years and think this has pretty much always been the case. This is okay when we're really busy with client work and emails are coming in daily from prospects.
