As someone who just recently started using Google+, I’ve had to toy around with it a little bit to realize what makes it so much bigger and better than the other social media sites out there. This past May, Google announced the new layout of Gmail. Considering the fact that Google has 425 million active users, I’d be willing to bet that this change has effected some of you! In this new layout, email messages are automatically filtered into five different categories. (more…)

Two weeks ago, Google began selling Chromecast. Just plug it into the HDMI port on your television and wirelessly stream content to your television from your computer, Android or iOS device. Chromecast is on the market for $35 a pop. Google says the device is “the easiest way to watch online video on your TV.” (more…)

Google Glass
Google Glass, the new revolutionary glasses made by Google are the talk of the social media world. Although these glasses are not being sold to the general public yet, many prototypes are out in the hands of regular people like you and me. So now that these prototypes are out in the hands of real people and being used in everyday life, what is everyone thinking? For starters, a pair of the glasses cost $1500, which in my opinion is way too much money for the average person to spend on a pair of glasses. (more…)
